Female beauty

Female beauty manifests itself in different ways, the anatomy of each woman is diverse and varied. Although we usually tend to think that we all have the same characteristics in terms of body parts, the truth is that each anatomy has its own individuality. In the field of sexuality, one of the topics that arouses the most interest and curiosity is female intimate physiology. There is an enormous diversity of shapes, colors and sizes in any part of our body, and the vagina is no exception. The shape of this organ can be unique to each woman. Here we show you a little about the different types of vaginas that exist and the beauty that makes them extraordinary.

Vagina Types: A World of Diversity

Vaginas, as we already mentioned, come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. They all have their peculiarities and details that make them unique and special. Although they are all beautiful in their own way, there are some common types of vaginas with distinctive characteristics:

Closed Eye or Barbie:

This type of vulva has the appearance of a closed eye. They tend to be elongated vaginas, slightly narrow and appear closed because the labia majora are larger than the labia minora and cover them. It is considered the most aesthetic, due to its shape, but curiously it is among the least common. This shape is also called Barbie, because it resembles the way the doll is designed.

Horseshoe:

The upper part of the minor lips of this type of vagina are larger than the major ones and the latter are a little further apart than average, making the inner lip more visible since it is exposed. Likewise, the lower part of the labia majora, being larger, covers the labia minora. Resulting in a vulva that resembles the shape of a horse’s horseshoe.

Swan:

It is called that because the labia minora become more visible as they are larger than the labia majora and the clitoris is large, protruding and being easily visible. Bearing similarity to an elegant swan.

Tulip:

It is characterized by the presence of minor lips that, although they are mostly covered, at first glance are slightly visible between the larger ones, reminiscent of the petals of a tulip.

Olympic Flame

Here you can see how the clitoris has a hood that is larger than the organ it covers. This shape slightly resembles that of the burning torch of an Olympic flame.

Butterfly:

It is said to be the most common type and although it is also said to have a curtain shape, it is characterized by having the minor lips that protrude between the major lips, opening above them.

Bata de Cola:

As in the previous case, the labia minora are larger than the labia majora, covering them, but in this case their size causes them to have folds and undulations and they do not always completely cover the labia majora.

Inflated:

Similar to the closed eye or Barbie shape, but the difference is that the lips look like they are hanging or swollen, protruding a little from the pubic bone.

Curiosities about the Vagina: Beyond the Obvious

Now, let’s take a look at some surprising facts about the vagina:

  • The size and shape of the vagina are not constant, meaning they can change during the menstrual cycle. This is due to hormonal changes, since the vagina can expand or contract slightly at different times of the menstrual cycle.
  • The vagina is par excellence one of the most elastic organs in the human body. During childbirth, the vagina may stretch considerably to allow the passage of the baby, and then largely return to its normal shape and size.
  • Not all vaginas have the same depth or length and as a woman ages they change.
  • The vagina does not have enough nerve endings to feel pain. Unlike other parts of the body, such as the skin, the vagina has fewer nerve endings, meaning it can tolerate a certain amount of stretching or pressure without feeling pain.
  • Vaginal lubrication is a natural response to sexual arousal. During sexual stimulation, glands within the vagina produce a lubricating fluid to facilitate penetration and reduce friction.

And what do they call it in other places?
